I'll help ya! Lol. Okay..well I usually just do what I feel is right. I don't have a layout, usually I can't remember what I did either when I go to put it in my grimoire.

Well, I think you should write it as you go along instead of trying to make it up just sitting down and writing it.

What I would do is see if you want to use herbs and what herbs to use; do you need candles?; do you need scents; do you need gemstones?; do you need tools based on your tradition of Witchcraft?, do you want to chant things during the spell?, etc.

Uhm, I would just go along, using what fits the need, that's how I did it. :]

So, this spell I had done before..I had used an astral candle and three blew candles and I surrounded it. I also put some incense on that brings me peace. I then chanted things and put an herb I had crushed, around my astral candle in a clockwise motion to bring peace to me.

So I guess it depends on what your intent is.

This other spell I did not actual create, but I have seen someone else close to me use it. Someone was really bothering them and being annoying towards them. She used the washing machine, a piece of clothing from that person, and a capsule of St. John's Wart that she opened up. She charged the St. John's Wart to mellow the person whose clothing she was washing and emptied the capsule into the water and let the washing machine run. It worked quite well and the person chilled out effectively.

I do not usually write out spells ahead of time. I go with what I feel is right. Some of the magick I use is purely focused intent and visualization. Other times, I chant, sing, or dance. Usually, I use prayer and visualizations. I write down a general guideline as a memory aid, but I rarely use it. Improvising it might help give you what you need.

For spells and rituals, I sometimes write them before hand, but most of the time I forget I was going to cast something. Then on the night it's like "Sh*t, I was going to cast a spell tonight!" Then I rush around getting a pencil and paper, and right what I think is right. Or sometimes I make it up on the spot.

I rarely write mine out beforehand, because I find just going with what I'm drawn to while I'm working works better for me. flower I've known plenty of others whom like to write out theirs, which is fine.
